Those customers choosing consignment can track their inventory including an in-stock view, which reflects the real-time status of client inventory and an inbound history report, which is a historical view in to what equipment was received, when, and from where, all via our secured website.

Sustainability is at the core of what NovaStar does. Our main goal is to retrieve value wherever possible from equipment returned to our facility for remarketing. Over 95% of the equipment sent to us is resold on the secondary market. If a received system is deemed defective and not repairable, NovaStar will harvest the system for its components. When a system is marginally working and repairable, we try to repair it with those parts from the non-repairable systems. Whatever parts are not used, are either sold off or stored in inventory for later repairs.

What little equipment is not resold is sent to downstream partners for proper environmentally friendly recycling. NovaStar requires its downstream partners to use EPA approved standards and provide certificates of destruction. Annual audits are conducted of our downstream providers with NovaStar personnel inspecting our waste management partner’s facility.
