David Baumgarten
David began his career as an R&D engineer at Hewlett Packard in Colorado Springs in 1981. He moved to HP Sales in Novi, MI in 1986. In 1996, he and two partners founded their own company. In 1998, he established NovaStar Solutions.com for the purpose of installation and re-marketing of UNIX systems. Since its foundation, David has continued to work day to day with his company to grow it into the company it is today.
Ronald E. Leix
Ron joined the NovaStar staff in 2001 as the manager of our Tech center, a role he continues to fill today. With a strong background in operations management, field service and computer technology, he has provided solid leadership, common sense and an intuitive understanding of individuals which has guided our company in its growth and success.
Kelly E. Smith
Kelly graduated from the University of Michigan in 1998. When David formed his own company, she came with him as a founding employee and has helped to guide its growth ever since. She has worked in positions at the company ranging from computer installations to asset management, and is currently the manager of the Services division.
CJ Baldwin
After graduating from Michigan State University in 1992, he pursued a career in commercial lending working for a regional bank in Adrian, Michigan. After getting a good foundation in business, he decided to attend the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson college in Babson Park, MA. In 1999 he obtained his MBA and decided to return back to Michigan. It has always been his desire to work for a small, entrepreneurial company, hire the right people, and become part of it's success.
Dustan A. June
Dustan has been with NovaStar Solutions.com since 2000. He is in charge of the company's procurement activities and manages the relationships with NovaStar's suppliers. He spent his first 2 years with NovaStar outsourced to a local company assisting them in managing their assets prior to his current position. Dustan is an honors graduate of James Madison College at Michigan State University and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
