NovaStar abides by the R2 standard to promote better environmental, health and safety, and security practices when handling end-of-life electronics. The guidelines cover IT equipment including computers and peripheral parts sent to us for proper refurbishment. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) facilitated development of R2 practices in conjunction with representatives from federal and state governments, electronics manufacturers, electronics refurbishing and recycling professionals, and trade associations.

As a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher, you can be assursed that systems purchased through NovaStar Solutions that the software licensing complies with the strictest standards. Not all of our equipment is sold with a Microsoft OS, but when it is, the required COA, media and confiruation is performed on each unit. For our customers, this ensures that they never have to worry about owning illegal software provided by us with their new machine. To our leasing partners, this can translate into higher market values to end users and shorter time-to-sell windows to maximize fair market value.
